It's Your Cluster
Since you are not replacing your cluster you do not need to reprogram the cluster
to match your vehicle's specifications hence your mileage and settings will remain
the same.
BMW's Remanufactured Cluster FAQs
Replacement clusters sell for $600-$1200+ US Dollars depending on your location
and vehicle manufacturer. These clusters are not new they are remanufactured to
the same specifications as the original and will usually fail again since they have not corrected
the design error. There have been four attempts to correct the pixel
issue problem, and these attempts have not solved the problem. Currently we
repair as many newer models as old.
Repair Turn-Around Time : One to two Days (not including
shipping)
Repair time can vary with each cluster. The approximate repair turn
around time is between one to two days, dependent upon incoming volume and each
clusters specific issue. For example if we receive your cluster on a
Monday, we generally will have it back in the mail to you by Tuesday or
Wednesday. The turn around time does not include weekends or
holidays, and the transit time to return in the mail. We ship back using a
two day service.
Dealer Labor Charges
Dealers charge approximately double our lowest cost for their remanufactured units
plus an additional $100 - $189 to install and program the cluster.
eBay and Junkyard Cluster FAQs
If you choose to purchase a used cluster from either eBay or a junkyard you'll have
a hard time getting it programmed to match your car and if you don't program it
you'll have a harder time selling your car. BMW has a mileage tamper indicator
that will illuminate when the unit is not programmed to match your vehicle's VIN
and transmission.
Guarantee Disclaimer
We guarantee our service and parts for the duration
of your guarantee. Most of our repairs are Life Time guarantees. Our service is to only repair the pixel problems within the instrument
cluster. If there were additional pre-existing conditions we will contact you to
discuss other repair options and pricing. If it is beyond our repair ability we
will refund you in full less shipping and send the unit back at our cost with options
of what you can do. If you should ever have an issue with your instrument
cluster, and dependent upon the date of your repair, we will cover
the return shiping cost and address the issue immediatly. Our main goal is to help
you save money and love the car your in.
